The Minnesota Legislature has an opportunity this year to ensure every working person has the freedom to care for themselves and the people they love without sacrificing a paycheck. HF 2/SF 2 would establish a Paid Family & Medical Leave program, funded by both workers and employers, that would allow any Minnesota worker to take up to 12 weeks of paid leave for the birth or adoption of a child, long-term illness, or to care for a loved one with a long-term illness.
