Nancy Altman, President of Social Security Works and chair of the Strengthen Social Security coalition, is author of several noted books on Social Security (The Truth About Social Security [2018], Social Security Works! Why Social Security Isn’t Going Broke [2015]). She served as an educator at Harvard University, is a Congressional expert on Social Security and served on Federal Commissions on Social Security improvements.
