Social Security: Count on It, a forum on this vital subject, will feature one of the nation’s leading advocates for the Social Security program as keynote speaker.  

Nancy Altman, President of Social Security Works and chair of the Strengthen Social Security coalition, is author of several noted books on Social Security (The Truth About Social Security [2018], Social Security Works! Join hundreds (if not thousands) of Minnesotans at the Teamsters 120 Hall in Blaine, MN., 9422 Ulysses Street NE, Suite 120, Blaine, Minnesota 55434 or by watching the livestream at your home or a “watch party”.  The program will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 19.   Sponsors are the Minneapolis Regional Retiree Council and Save Our Pensions MN, with support from the Minneapolis Regional Labor Federation, the Minnesota State Retiree Council, AFL-CIO and the University of Minnesota Labor Education Service

The event will be livestreamed throughout Minnesota with the assistance of the University of Minnesota Labor Education Service.  In addition to Ms. Altman’s remarks, there will be an opportunity for questions and answers with the speaker and panelists.  Join us!!
