Support TSA workers

The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) is on the ballot to represent workers at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Balloting instructions were sent out earlier this week in this historic nationwide election.  Forty thousand workers will have until April 19 to cast their vote in the first opportunity for collective bargaining rights since the TSA was formed. The Minneapolis Regional Labor Federation is organizing phone banks where they will check in with eligible voters to make sure they have all of the information they need to vote for AFGE. The next available shifts are on Tuesday, March 22 from 4-7 PM, and Thursday, March 24 from 9:30-11:30 AM, 1:30-3:30 PM, and 5:30-7:30 PM. Please contact Gayle McMahon (612-379-4206; gayle@minneapolisunions.org) to volunteer.
