Iron Range Union Activists Begin Worksite Flyering

Virginia, MN--Union Activists from the Steelworkers distributed flyers July 20 at the Arcelor Mittal Minorca Mine. Local 6115 members talked with other union members at the 2 pm shift change about why Tom Emmer is bad for the middle class.

Activists from USW Local 6115 engaged over 80 workers and will continue to recruit other union members to become activists. USW 6115 President Ray Pierce Sr. says, "If you're not a labor activist, then you let things slip by. We need to stand up and push forward for workers. Right now is the time to be strong, especially in these tough times."
