Solidarity with Striking Sheet Metal Workers

We’re reaching out to ask for your solidarity and support for members of SMART (Sheet Metal Workers) Local 10, who are currently on strike in Mankato.

After more than 40 hours of negotiations, the company presented a “last, best, and final” offer that members overwhelmingly rejected.

Workers are holding strong on the picket line—and they need our support. Let’s join them on the line:

There will be two shifts available:

• 6:30 AM – 11:30 AM
• 11:30 AM – 4:00 PM

We encourage you to join for a shift—or stay all day if you can. A strong showing from our broader labor movement will send a clear message that we stand united.

Please wear a high-visibility vest if you have one. Let’s show up in force and support these workers as they fight for a fair contract.
