Duluth Forum on Racial & Economic Justice

Join Minnesota AFL-CIO Racial & Economic Justice Committee members, and local and state Labor Leaders to discuss how the Labor Movement can grow and support each other in Racial and Economic Justice personal and shared work. We will come together to learn from each other through panel discussions, small group collaboration and personal feedback to grow.

The Forum will begin with panel discussions. Panelists will share their Racial and Economic justice journeys, programs, and/or how involvement in the labor movement has helped them and their communities. We will then participate in a module from the AFL-CIO Racial and Solidarity Trainings and finally conclude the evening with sharing and personal reflection time.

This event is open to all Labor leaders and activists who share a good faith desire to eliminate racism in our movement and our state and make sure the labor movement is welcoming and inclusive to all.

Program is from 5:00-7:30 with dinner starting at 4:45.
