State Fair Labor Pavilion features ‘Fun Facts’ contest
“Are you smarter than a CEO?” is the title of a new fun facts contest at the Labor Pavilion of this year’s Minnesota State Fair.
Fairgoers can win a totebag if they can identify which group of workers built the Statue of Liberty or how many nurses in Minnesota are represented by a union. Participants receive a game card, then visit various kiosks in the pavilion to learn the answers to that day’s questions.
Questions focus on work and workplace issues, including labor history and current events.
The Labor Pavilion, located at the intersection of Cooper and Dan Patch Avenues, houses exhibits by several labor organizations and is the only building at the fair built using greencon
