Comprehensive Transportation Funding, including a gas tax increase

Our quality of life and Minnesota’s economic vitality depend on a transportation system with safe road and bridges, easy access to public transit, and safe bike and pedestrian paths. We support a comprehensive transportation funding package that will create family sustaining jobs, help retain and attract a talented workers, generate new economic development opportunities throughout the state, and keep Minnesota economically competitive. Only a new and dedicated revenue source, including an increase in the gas tax, can provide the resources for the transportation system Minnesotans need and deserve.
