The Minnesota AFL-CIO and League of Rural Voters sponsored a well attended fundraiser for the JOBS NOW Coalition last Saturday, Oct. 17 which featured special guest, Jim Hightower.

A Big Thank You to all of the Minnesota and North Dakota area labor councils/regional labor federations who have been working nonstop with affiliates on working families' issues in the past months. Working families have continued to fight for policies that will improve America.

It's Time to Deliver Health Insurance Reform round up continues. Duluth and St. Cloud actions were covered in part one of the blog post.

Minnesota union members participated in a national day of action for health care reform on October 20th around the state. Actions took place at congressional offices and the message union members sent was clear: It's time to deliver health care for all.
